Scholarships and grants are open to high school seniors in the community and professionals from CUA affiliated credit unions and CUSOs that wish to further their education in the accounting and finance sectors. Applicants applying for scholarships and grants are required to provide an application, an essay and two letters of recommendation from faculty, in the case of students, or one letter of recommendation from the applicant’s credit union supervisor or executive, a statement of interest and a professional resume, in the case of affiliated credit union staff.
To ensure an application is considered, the completed application and supporting materials must be received as a package to the Dream Educational Foundation at least 90 days prior to the start of the program for which scholarship and or grant funds are being requested. For high school students, application and supporting materials must be received by March 1st of the year graduation takes place.
